KATIE CARR, VICE PRESIDENT & GENERAL MANAGER
Katie leads the Changing Places team with a background in superb client relations, hospitality, and event planning. A native of Indianapolis, Katie attended Miami University (Ohio) where she graduated cum laude with a dual degree in International Business and Spanish. She moved to the Bay Area fresh from college in 1998 to join LesConcierges (now John Paul), the premier personal- and corporate-concierge company based in San Francisco. She then managed a catering and event company which brought high-profile conferences and meetings to San Francisco. Before joining Changing Places, Katie was a Senior Project Manager for Restoration Hardware at its Northern California headquarters.
Katie heads the sales and business development efforts for Changing Places, runs the business’s day-to-day operations, and fosters vendor and industry partnerships. She also directs the training and development of the talented CP staff. Katie is tenacious and unwavering in her commitment to deliver impeccable client service to all CP clients.
She lives in northern Marin County with her husband, two young children and a lovable Terrier rescue.
