1)        How does virtual consulting work?

We work with you over Zoom, an online video conferencing website that’s free and easy to use. Our staff works from their homes while helping you in yours. Click here for instructions on setting up your virtual session.

2)        What types of services can I get help with virtually?

Changing Places offers (click) all six categories of services virtually. This means that whether you’re preparing to move, organizing your home or settling a family estate, we can help.

3)        What are the benefits of virtual organizing/consulting?

We can service clients anywhere in the world, at any time. Our team is available nearly 24/7.

#1: EASE – Virtual delivery of our services allows our clients to get started, save time and money while being in control, relaxed and hands on.

#2: COST – Our virtual services are discounted from our typical onsite services offering. When we are working remotely with our clients, we don’t incur or charge travel costs, vehicle fees, etc.

#3: CONVENIENCE – We’ll supply the plan, the toolkit and the methods. Our goal is to deliver a turnkey organizing, relocation or design solution to you and your team–can execute. Virtual work also offers the flexibility of working around life’s obligations, like school schedules, childcare, and work.

#4: PACE – We will work on a timeline and schedule that suits you. If you have a project-related deadline at your home, Changing Places can meet your expectations with our large and experienced crew.

4)        Besides the virtual sessions, what tools and resources can I expect to help me reach my project goals?

Our work doesn’t end when the session ends. Changing Places offers phone, email and text support throughout the process, typically charged by the quarter-hour. You will receive expert guidance from our project manager, and office support. We will research and provide access to our world-class vendor network. Many projects will also include a curated list of consignment, donation and project-specific service providers based on your needs.

5)        How do I sign up and get started?

First, fill out our form and give us some information to get going. We will then schedule your complimentary 15-minute phone session to discuss your needs with your Changing Places project manager. We’ll send you a contract, obtain a deposit, and schedule our first Zoom session.

6)        How do I pay for your services?

Changing Places accepts PayPal, check or credit card for your virtual consulting session. Click here to pay by PayPal.

7)        What deposit is required?

We require a minimum payment of 50% to reserve your virtual session. This amount goes toward your package price.
